About the EditorThe creator and editor of theologicaleducation.com is Dr. James A. Meek.
Jim served as at Covenant Seminary in St. Louis for 13 years as Associate Dean for Academics, Dean of Academic Administration, and Assistant Professor of Bible. He led Covenant's institutional self-study and assessment efforts. Jim has also served as a member and chair of accreditation teams from the Association of Theological Schools, including joint ATS/NCA and ATS/SACS visits. He has assisted ATS most recently as a consultant on assessment to two schools in the Character and Assessment of Learning for Religious Vocation Project. He has also assisted other theological schools as a consultant on assessment and curriculum. Jim's Ph.D. is in New Testament from Concordia Seminary. His particular interests (outside of theological education and assessment) are Luke-Acts, the Old Testament in the New, New Testament theology and biblical theology. He has taught Greek, Acts and Pauline Epistles, New Testament Theology, Bible survey, preaching, and communication. He also holds M.Div. and Th.M. degrees from Westminster Seminary in Philadelphia and a B.A. in English from Rice University.
